Gareth Clay

Dr Gareth Clay is Reader in Physical Geography at UoM. His research spans the rural and urban environment and includes active projects on wildfires, organic matter characterisation, and the impact of land management and disturbances on carbon cycling processes. His urban research has explored the community benefits of daylighting urban waterways and has explored the barriers to the uptake of green infrastructure.
